New Wakhan Media is a private and independent digital media established in 2023 to provide factual, verified, and lifesaving humanitarian information to the nation. The concept of having digital media was brought up by a group of dedicated assistant professors to serve as an alternative education modality besides providing accurate information.

New Wakhan Media is operating in digital platforms including a well-designed website that has the capacity to support recent technology with news information in categories, as well as a Learning Management System (LMS) to support educational objectives. The media has a Facebook page, a YouTube account, an X account, a WhatsApp channel, and an Instagram account to engage with more audiences.

New Wakhan media as the perfect alternative modality capered to TV and Radio focus on school subjects and specifically on natural science subjects and some social science subjects. Additionally, the organization also has well well-designed plan for skills development with a special focus on women. This will allow the organization to empower women in terms of their capacity to work, develop their skills as per the market requirements, and explore job opportunities for women.
